It is no lie and no secret that I absolutely adore Disney! If you didn’t know that, where have you been?! I pretty much live for Disney and it keeps me happy when times are tough, gives me some great soundtracks for any mood I’m in as well as reminding me that growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional!
As my blog becomes more personal and I’m getting into the feel of the things I want to post, I’ve decided to start writing Disney posts! I know this isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but some may like it and considering Disney is a part of my life, it only seems right to mention it every now and then! So to start the thread of Disney posts, it only feels right to begin with a Disney tag! Enjoy!
Favorite Disney movie?
Do you know how much of a difficult question this is for a Disney fan? I’d have to say my fave film of all time would be Peter Pan. From the opening credits the music turns me into a blubbering mess and I think it’s the most magical out of all!
Walt Disney World or Disneyland?
I’ve only ever been to one park and that’s Disneyland Paris. Even if I did visit any other park I don’t think it can beat DLP because I have so many memories there from when I was young and from recent trips!
Favorite Disney character?
This is so difficult! Okay I’m splitting it into categories!
Favorite princess- Rapunzel
Favorite villain- Dr. Facilier
Favorite classic character- Donald Duck
Favorite side kick- Pascal or Mushu
Favorite prince- Naveen from PATF
The First Disney Movie you remember seeing in the theatres
Not too exciting but I’m pretty sure it was Piglets Big movie… Not sure whether it was the first but its definitely the first one I remember!
What type of Disney item do you collect the most?
It used to be toys but recently it’s pins and ornaments!
Your favorite Disney song?
SOOOOO MANY! TOO MANY! Okay top 3 are Go The Distance from Hercules, Almost There from Princess and the Frog and Why Should I Worry from Oliver and Company!
Favorite attraction/ride at the parks
Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean!
What is your dream job at Disney?
Either a cast member on a attraction/parade or working in something to do with PR!
Who’s the park character you never want to miss meeting at the parks?
PETER PAN! I have the best interaction with Peter every single time I go to DLP and it makes my trip so happy and magical!
What’s your most treasured Disney item?
My Walt Disney pin. He is my hero and I love him so much for creating so much magic in my life and this world.
Which Disney voice actor would you most like to meet?
Robin Williams which I know will never be possible but I wish I could have met him. His voice as the genie is something that will always be my favourite!
Favorite Disney movie that’s not a classic/famous? Excluding Black Cauldron
Oliver and Company! I don’t think that’s very famous is it?
If you could say anything to Walt Disney right now, what would it be?
Your magic in this world has made me into a happier and more positive human being and I cannot thank you enough for that. Your magic will continue to inspire my life.
Your favourite parade/show at the parks?
Of course representing DLP, Magic on Parade, but Fantillusion was amazing when I saw it and I’m dying to see the Soundsational parade!
Your favourite Disney memory?
There are so many oh my gosh! Okay so just a few: when I met Peter Pan and he thought I was a pirate and interacted with me during the parade, when Peter Pan blew me a kiss on the float, when Eeyore ran away with me on his back through Adventureland and when Tigger came into the hotel arcade and started playing against me on a racing game!
Do you have a favorite pair of Mickey ears?
My classic Minnie Mouse ones!
If you could, what ‘forgotten princess’ would you add to the official lineup?
Even though she’s not really a princess, Pocahontas for sure! Or Merida.
Your favourite princess dress/outfit?
Ariel’s town dress, the one in the Kiss The Girl scene!
Your favourite Disney soundtrack?
Peter Pan or The Princess and the Frog!
Favorite restaurant at the parks?
Its technically not in the park but Planet Hollywood or Anettes Diner!
How did you first discover the magic of Disney?
I was bought up with Disney since I was a baby, but I remember being 14 and watching Tangled at Christmas. After watching it I asked my mom whether we could go back to Disneyland Paris and the rest is history. I’ve loved Disney ever since!
Saddest moment in a Disney film?
Tangled when Eugene “dies”. No spoilers no spoilers!
Best Disney kiss
WHEN YOU REALISE EUGENE ISN’T DEAD AND HIM AND RAPUNZEL FINALLY KISS LIKE YOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR SINCE THE I SEE THE LIGHT SCENE! I get very emotional at that scene
If you could live in any world from a Disney movie, which would you choose?
Neverland all day e’ryday!
Which Disney princess has the best sidekick?
Rapunzel of course! Pascal is one of my favorites!
Are you the only one obsessed with Disney in your family?
It indeed run’s through the family! My mom, my auntie and my cousin are all Disney obsessed just like me!
Favorite hotel at the parks?
I love the Sequoia Lodge but the Disneyland Paris hotel is actually breathtaking and I’m happy I can even admit that I’ve stayed there!
Do you plan to have your honeymoon at a Disney park?
Is that a trick question? I plan to get married INSIDE a Disney park!
Post a picture of yourself that’s Disney-related
Which Disney movie will always have a special place in your heart and for what reason?
There are three that mainly stick out for me.
- Tangled because it sparked the magic inside of me again.
- Snow White because I always remember watching it as a kid
- The Jungle Book because it was always my Grandpa’s favourite film and I miss him so when I watch it, it reminds me of him.
Who didn’t like Disney! I’ve actually been to all the Disney theme parks around the world… One of my minor accomplishments. Have written about the family visit to Hong Kong Disneyland on my blog even. Cheers and looking forward to more Disney posts!

Yeah it’s quite cool, especially the one in Japan that isn’t talked about much. They are opening one in China next in a couple of years, which should be interesting.

This is a great post! I loved reading it. I also grew up with Disney. As a 30 year old, I’d still transform into a child when I wear my mickey ears and am in the park and hear all these songs around me. My first movie in the theaters was the little mermaid! How I love anything Disney! xoxo Sarah BTW, you should totally make this a tag 😉
